Nice and bright! you can't even tell the exit signs at my school light up unless it's a cloudy day out because on a sunny day the daylight drowns them out. If you can see them on a normal day, how are you supposed to see them when the hallway is filled with smoke in a fire?

at my school they used those red colored LED retrofits and they look odd because the exit signs were meant to have clear/white colored lamps in them because the face is a white panel with EXIT typed in red. Now stick a red light behind that lens and all you see is a red face, no words.
