Is this a Touch-and-Glow photocell?
Antstar85   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:17 PM]
Its actually a FP Electronic control. Its in a different case though cause the original had a crack in it!
streetlight98   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:19 PM]
where did you get this light? I'm assuming you restored it.
Antstar85   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:24 PM]
I got it when I was an Electrical contactor from a remodel of a building. It was upside own collectiong rainwater.
GullWhiz   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:25 PM]
Upside down on a streetlight arm with the light shining on the sky?! Shocked

or on the ground upsidedown collecting rain?

or Slipfitter side up with rain coming into it Razz

Define "Upside down!"
Antstar85   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:26 PM]
It was on the ground in the mud in the corner of the yard facing up at the sky!
streetlight98   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:27 PM]
Is the NEMA label origional or added?
GullWhiz   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:27 PM]
In the corner of the yard COWERING from being scrapped (that is if it had feelings) Razz Laughing

NEMA tags were on GE doors as early as the early 70s...but HPS was first to have them. But I believe because this was a different wattage fixture, I would say added!
Antstar85   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:29 PM]
the nema tag is original, i just tapped around it while i was painting it
GullWhiz   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:30 PM]
I won't deny I guessed wrong. And Kudos to you for leaving it alone. I often like leaving original tags and parts alone! Trying to fix em up a bit!
Antstar85   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:31 PM]
yep its hard to come by new tags
streetlight98   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:32 PM]
do you still have the origional drop lens? If so could you take a pic of the light with the drop lens in it?
Antstar85   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:34 PM]
i actually do and have a shot with it. ill upload it now
streetlight98   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:37 PM]
Ok, thanks.
Antstar85   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:53 PM]
I'm surprised no one noticed the object in the background. Wink
gramirez2012   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:53 PM]
Very cool light! I'm thinking about getting a FCO cobrahead for my backyard.
Antstar85   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:55 PM]
They are cool but I still like the drop lens the most
streetlight98   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:55 PM]
I see you also have an OVZ. Smile I noticed the pole, but thought it was a tree. Embarrassed Laughing I perfer drop lens too.
Antstar85   [Aug 03, 2011 at 11:56 PM]
Actually it's an OVG! The only problem is that I don't have the right Lens for it so I have a GE Glass lens in it right now.
streetlight98   [Aug 04, 2011 at 12:00 AM]
The glass Cooper lens looks the best in the OVG. Trust me.
