Older GEs
Found these older davit poles that still have their original GE Powr/Doors on them. I think these were installed around 1971 judging from the date stamp on the nearby underpass. They;re HPS now but might be been originally mercury.

Nice! Is this the Jane and Dundas GE's? Too bad most of the GE series lights are rapidly being replaced in Toronto.

Nice! Looks very-RIDOT lol. They used these a lot in the 70s and 80s, first in 400W MV and then 250W HPS.

These GE's were most commonly installed in Etobicoke and York. The FCO GE M400A's are nice looking fixtures still in use on the Allen expressway and HIghway 7 in Vaughan. There used to be some in my city on Bovaird (hwy 7) from the 410 to Hurontario until 2005-2006.

Yeah these are the Jane and Dundas GEs, I also have a pic of the Jane and Bloor GEs but I might retake it since the angle of the original pic wasn't that good.

Highway 7 in York was quite interesting, one part has M-400R2 FCOs and the other has M-400A2 FCOs. The M-400A2s on the Allen were installed in the 90s and replaced Philips LPS fixtures.

The oldest GEs still in use are probably the M-400s, I think Dufferin still has a few, converted to HPS of course.
