Yup that's the same hand used in Toronto and the rest of the GTA. Probably the same Walk module and countdown module as well

Thats an American signal. The man is the standard symbol. The countdown fixture is an early GE model.

Interestingly, even back in the incandescent days, the hand was already a outline. The walking man only became a outline when LEDs came in.

Hmm here the hands are still fully colored. Outlined man? that's a new one for me. I thought the man icons were all fully colored.

An early form of a L.E.D. insert here in the U.S. did use the outline of "the man;" however, I believe this has been permanently banned. Even so, you could still find these in existence, and one city that comes to mind is New York. The first kind of L.E.D. hand and man insert that was introduced there was manufactured by CooperLED/AtLite Inc. There were two variations in production, and each one used this. Though CooperLED/AtLite Inc. left the signal manufacturing over 6 years ago, the inserts themselves are, as I mentioned before, still in existence throughout New York City.
