QEW Skyway Here's a shot of the QEW Burlington Bay Skyway at dusk. The Toronto bound (same direction as pic) bridge was originally bidirectional with fluorescent streetlights on davit poles in the median and was built in the 50s. The current truss poles were installed in the 80s when the Hamilton bound bridge was built but I believe the AEL 125s came a while after that. Maybe the original lights on the truss poles were MV Powerlites? Keywords: American_Streetlights

QEW Skyway

Here's a shot of the QEW Burlington Bay Skyway at dusk. The Toronto bound (same direction as pic) bridge was originally bidirectional with fluorescent streetlights on davit poles in the median and was built in the 50s.

Ahh, makes sense. I recently found a set of pics showing the original Skyway with B2255s on davit poles. The B2255s weren't orignal though, the original lumes on the stretch of the QEW were fluorescent lumes...maybe similar to what the Gardiner had.

On the site you linked can see the Model 25's on the truss lights around North Shore and southbound on the QEW before the skyway. Very Happy
