Thanks Michael, my birthday is actually July 22 but this was a late present.

Nice stand! and Happy Belated Birthday!

Your stand (and seeing a 12-8-8 with backplate on it) reminds me a lot of something like this. Very Happy

Looks good! Nice stand

Thanks Joseph, yeah I guess this does look quite a lot like that signal.
@ Nick thanks, this was based on your signal stands.

Ugh, so my sequencer still hasn't arrived I don't know if it has got lost in the mail or what. I have contacted them but they keep saying they shipped it and it hasn't been returned. Rolling Eyes

I screwed in a new red lamp on Thursday and the screw shell broke loose from the globe without my realizing. I pluged in the traffic light and a bright flash and it won't work. I'm guessing it's the fuse.

I used a homemade sequencer in my Econolite 12-8-8 but it only controls one signal so I'll have to make or get another one for my pedestrian signal and my 8" CGE both of which aren't controlled right now.

Well the sequencer FINALLY arrived, hey it only took three months. Rolling Eyes Anyways I'm going to be installing it tonight and it should be up and running by tomorrow, I'll get some shots once it is installed

It took less lime for me to buy the parts and then build it. Laughing Razz Rolling Eyes

Well I got everything up and working in about 15 minutes last night, unfortunately I left my camera somewhere else so pictures will be coming on Tuesday. I also went insane to beat Jace's picture, I lit 2 - 250 watt 2 - 400 watt and 1 - 1kW HPS lamps at the same time! Shocked Cool I'll do it again and get pics.
streetlight98   [Nov 04, 2011 at 09:13 PM]
I lit a 400, 175, 175, 250, 90, and 60w lamps up plus my strobe light, which i don't know the wattage of. (plus, add ballast losses.)

How did you mount the signal on to the pole? I am interested i building a stand like this for my signals.

Right now I wonder how you got the signal ON the little pole... I am not sure how I would be able to do that, how did you do that?
gailgrove   [Mar 08, 2012 at 08:05 PM]
I based it off this video that Nick made, with my own modifications to the design. I can take some pictures if you want.
LilCinnamon   [Mar 08, 2012 at 08:07 PM]
Yeah please take some pictures! I would like to know.

And The link doesn't work.
gailgrove   [Mar 08, 2012 at 08:09 PM]
Fixed the link, it shows pretty well what you need to do, it didn't work exactly like that for me so mine is different.

Well I actually just made a little stand for my traffic signal. If you remember how I held up my M-400 R2 long ago I used the same base for it.

Stands up great! I put the incandescent signal on the stand. The other one still isn't on the stand.
