Appleton high bay with a Sylvania 300W silvered bowl lamp.
The result is quite interesting! Although it cuts off some lumens, it gives a soft, yet bright indirect light, not bad for 300W!

Aside from the lamp, the fixtures in my former elementary school's gym looked exactly like this when lit up!

i like how it looks like the Light is coming from the top of the fixture and the lamp doesnt look lit!

My school also had these fixtures until a few years ago. Nice, simple lights, although I think I'll stay with regular IF lamps.

That setup above was pretty much for experimenting, I normally use non-SB lamps Wink
