Mercuryvapor123, yeah right! you got a few counts of converting fixtures to HPS

FGS, sorry Subway napkin dollars aren't eligible for bail. Plus witnesses tells you attempted to steal the Medium Pressure MV.

Gmercury2000 hasn't said anything, and its often the quiet ones who's guilty, but again I am not to judge!

It's obvious who did it but I guess no one really suspected ME! Yes it was me who brainwashed the Gull to convert his light to HPS you see HPS is THE BEST!! Laughing

It was done so the OV-15 wouldn't be replaced when the lamp failed. Razz Sometimes I wish i could climb up the pole and HPS ballasts in some of the really old lights so they don't get replaced when the mercury lamps die. Crying or Very sad

Strange I've thought the opposite, I wonder what if anyone will notice the difference if I retrofitted the street to MV. Laughing

Of course I'd love to do that, but then NGrid would replace all the lights on my street unless I used 70w PSMH ballasts and 100w MV lamps. Sad

There's alot of mercury vapor Westinghouse OV-15's along Mt. Royal Blvd in Hampton Township that are being replaced with high pressure sodium cobraheads when the lamps burn out, Duquesne Light replaced at least 11 of them. Sad

In this picture, it's simply a MV fixture with a HPS retrofit lamp for MV ballast!
