If it was falling and I was nearby, I'd try to catch it before the glass lens shatters.

You'd really have to be there at the perfect time to catch it before it hits the ground. Maybe on a windy day you could go back to this light. You could at least maybe get the door if the refractor breaks Very Happy

This is why I feel that all lights should have hinge keepers so that if this happens, the door won't come unhinged. Maybe with a long pipe or something you could push the door back up and latch it from the ground lol. (or push it the other way and snag it lol) Razz Laughing
