what's affected by these EMPs? Just things with ciruit boards or is any electrically powered item at risk? (I'm thinking about my laptop and light fixtures...)

I used to keep the old important 5 1/4 inch floppy disks on one of my childhood bookcase with metal plates convered to prevent any magnetic stray coming in. I think I still have it contained for about 20 years and now these old 5 1/4 floppy disk/drive are obsolete Razz
