NABCO/ Gyro Tech Automatic Door Decals
Maybe you remember decals similar to these from a few years back that had "IN" or "OUT" printed below the arrow in place of the logo? Well, those are no more. It seems automatic door companies have started to make their door decals advertisment decals lol. Stanley Access Techologies still has the IN and OUT designations and they're the only ones to still have them. If these had the words below the arrow, they's say IN since the adheisive is on the arrow side. If the adheisive was on the do not enter side it would have said "OUT". In the mid 2000s they all started showing their logos on the decals. stanley was first in 2000 or 2001 to start with their logo. GyroTech did it in 2005 or 2006. Besam did it shortly after.

Good stuff. Where do you get these?

Nabco/Gyro Tech has always been one of my favorite door manufacturers.

Haven't yet seen these in person but I have seen these in the Besam and Horton versions.

I just looked around on the web for distributors for the decals. Besam will NOT send free decals to anyone. They charge their distributors for the decals so the charge is passed on to the end customer, which is probably why i see new Besam doors with Stanley decals. I've never seen these new Gyro Tech decals either until i got them. I haven't seen the hortons in a long time either. The stanley decals and doors are the most common here.

For Stanley i jsut emailed them directly and they send me some decals. All the decals I've gotten have been free of charge. Normally if you email and kindly ask they'll send you the decals without charging. The place i got these from said that these are normally $4 each, but this time he'd send me some free of charge. i'll upload the stanley decals in a little bit. Also, with the help of my scanner and publisher, i was able to white out the logo on the computer and type in the "IN" and "OUT" designations. I'll also upload a pic of that as well. Cool If you want a couple decals just email me and I'll send you a couple in the mail. Probably one of these and a horton if you'd like.

I'm gonna try asking them and see where that gets me.

One strange thing I've noticed is that the stanley decals on the doors at walmart are 6", as are any stanley decals I've seen in use. Yet the decals they sent me are the 6.5" size, which was used on older decals. The generic "ENTER/DO NOT EXIT" and "EXIT/DO NOT ENTER" decals are still 6.5" tp this day but the newer Gyrotech decals (and i thought the newer stanley ones too) are 6". Gyrotech switched to the 6" size in the 90s i think. Long before the in and out wordings were dropped. i think it was the same for stanley. Then in 2001-ish, stanley redesigned their decals with the logos on them. Gyrotech followed in 2005 and Besam added their logo too somewhere between 2000 and 2008.
