LOL I've had wasps make nests inside my lights outside so I just put a shorting cap in place of the photocell and plug the light in and let it run 24/7 in the hot summer sun until those friggin things either jump ship or cook to death.

I had wasps make a nest in a 4' fluorescent I have outside under the overhang (there's a little hole in the plastic cover that's meant as a finger-grip to remove it). I blocked the hole in the cover with tape & did the same...turned it on on a nice summer day & just let it cook 'em all day
(afterwards, I remove the nest & burned it )

Yep, they seem to find any little crack/hole to get in...

Exactly. Burning is the proper disposal method for those paper nests they make
