Interesting setup. Does the wind turbine and solar panel recharge a battery pack to power this light at night? Confused

Interesting!

It seems this is the street lighting of the future. All off clean renewable energy.
Cool

What type of lamp is in there? Confused

Yes deep cycle battery, wet nickel cadmium. The most efficient lamp ever SOX-E, E means electronic ballast SOX means the family of LPS it is in
That lamp looks to be 66w SOX-E gets 250lmpw (no ballast) so 16,500lm than we add about 12w for the ballast so 211lmpw (total amps vs lm output) Magnetic ballast is not at all with SOX-E.and lamp life is 36,000h
LPS-M LPS-E is different than SOX-E. LPS-M is magnetic ballast the lamps get 230lmpw but we have to add the ballast in EX. 90W LPS-M gets 20700 lm and 230lmpw the ballast uses 20w so total watts is at 110 / 20700 is 188lmpw lamp life is 24,000h
LPS-E gets 230lmpw EX 90W gets 20700lm this time is different from LPS-M this ballast works with the lamp in such a way that we only + 5w 217lmpw lamp life is only about 11,000h Shocked

And despite the solar and wind power - it's dayburning!

What is SOX-E? The only wattages I knew about LPS were 18,35,55,90,135, and 180. I have never heard of 66w.

Awesome Streetlight!! Shocked

@ZarlogH46:
SOX-E is a lamp for energy-saver/electronic ballast. 66w replaces 90w standard SOX
