Silver Bowl in its natural habitat
This fixture is in my kitchen, it has a 300w GE bulb with outer silver coating.
When I was a kid, the classrooms in my school had 6 or 8 of these fixtures with 500w bulbs.

Very nice! Our city hall has some of these in service. I will have to take a picture of them someday.
