The fixtures looks the same as in this pictures. So they may be Copper.
I thinks that all of our highmasts that takes this forms are americans.
From this link, i see also that the security lighting in the US have much lower intensity contrary to the same application in Israel. Commercial security lighting in the US takes the form of NEMA heads that don't contains any optical system and low wattage HID lamps. By contrast, commercial security lighting in Israel often takes the form of floodlights with 250W-400W MH and HPS lamps, sometimes even 1000W MH lamps. For example all of the security lighting that Gaash lighting produces and sells, are floodlights (Although wallpacks may be used also in security lighting both in the US and in Israel).

Oh the USA also uses flood lights for security lighting too for commercial........the NEMAs are usually found in residental areas actually...but sometimes they are used in commercials (mostly the commercials who are cheapskates LOL)

Jace, in Israel, i don't know why about residental security. But, i bet that in large cities (Such as Haifa), the buildings enterance lighting (Ie... PL house name and number signs/lamps and globe lanterns [With incandescent, 160W SBMV or energy saving CFL lamps]) performs this action. In smaller cities, settlements and especially in kibbutzim, this application performed often by 200W-500W halogen floodlights with PCs and volume detectors, that turns the light on when a people get close to the area of the floodlight. The automatic turning on is to deter burglars. The PC prevents the floodlight to turn on during the day.
