Street light Demo
Hard to see, but the colonial on top of the wood pole has an arrow stuck in it. This is an actual fixture that was removed from our system. I guess the vandals ran out of bullets, or maybe thay were having a cowboy and indian moment !

Are any of the fixtures yours?
GullWhiz   [Jun 11, 2011 at 12:47 AM]
Great job man! I remember you showing me the unfinished piece of this project!

And Naill no it's not his..it's the electrical companies...
gailgrove   [Jun 11, 2011 at 01:05 AM]
Yet, I'm sure they won't keep it for ever Razz BTW Steve what fixtures (if any) do you have? I've never seen any pictures Smile
GullWhiz   [Jun 11, 2011 at 01:14 AM]
You never know Gailgrove...don't be so negative...I have been told they have some old old fixtures in their storage!
gailgrove   [Jun 11, 2011 at 01:19 AM]
How was I being negative? I was implying that if they get rid of it Steve could get them. And I asked a question.
GullWhiz   [Jun 11, 2011 at 01:25 AM]
"I'm sure they wont keep it forever" Sounds a bit negative...But yeah old fixtures are thrown away everyday...those in this display is pretty lucky...but I know the older incandescent are usually more likely to be saved....

And to be honest...we have WAAAAAY so many older fixtures that we really really really can't save them all! He tries his best, but he also has to do his job! His job is top priority! For example...I went out in East bay....and I saw about 40 OV-12s all together 20 M-400 silver, 10 OV-25s, a ton of OV-15s a quite bit of MO-8s and 2 GE M-100s today!

Steve did post pics in the past...but he's REALLY busy lately! Because he does so good job he has no time to go online....He doesn't have as many fixtures as you...but he has an Quartermoon hat, a gumball, Westinghouse NEMA bucket, a old gas posttop fixture in the back along with an old gas Novelux fixture.
