Downtown Buffalo, Niagara St. Near City Hall 1964
Here are some prime specimens of General Electric series incandescent teardrops (along with Form 109 incandescents in the background). These luminaires were not only downtown, but stretched along a majority of Main St. up to just past Hertel Ave. where Westinghouse OV-20s took over. Also of note are these poles, which have been the mainstay in Buffalo for decades, are known as "pendant arm" poles and in the city, were usually in either 25 or 30 foot heights and with typically 6 foot arms, although the occasional 8 or 10 foot arm was seen.

I spy 1960 Ford Fairlane at the left and 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Sedan at the right.

This stretch of Niagara St. is currently undergoing reconstruction.
