True LED TVs, tends to have a very large screen because of the limitation of the LEDs size, which can't be as small as an LCD pixel in LCD TV.
However, it is irritating that the TV companies and the advertisements, uses this term (LED TV), as a generic term for LCD TVs that uses LEDs to illuminate their panels. This also accurs in relation to computer screens, using the same mothed, in Israel (LED computer or laptop screens, instead of LED lit LCD computer or laptop screens).
