Canadian Model 13 I was surprised that this ITT/T&B model 13 style fixture was made in Canada by Emergi Lite.As far as I knew,they only manufactured emergency lighting and lighted exit signs.It seems like they were into street lighting in the past.This fixture has a Sola Canada ballast.It seems to be one of few Canadian fixtures with the option of a powdercoat finish. They still made the Model 13 in 1986? I know I have seen some of Model 13s that seemed to come from the late 80s....but I do know Model 113 had existed as early as 1984....My Model 113 actually came from 1986!

Interesting, I've noticed that Emergi Lite/Powerlite is listed together on this old MTO document. Even more odd the B2255 is listed under Sylvania Canada.

It seems most brands of fixtures are unfinished here,except for GE's which are all powdercoated,some other models here that are both finished and unfinished include model 13's and 25's,Unidor 150's and OVF's.Most likely a cost saving option.

I also saw a Silver American Electric Model 25 in North Eastern MD! The early ones were silver!

In my Unidor collection there is one that is bare finish and the others are gray and silver painted.

Darren has them...it should be in his gallery on LG....but the one I saw in MD looked darker than unpainted!

Gull's eyes are too small to see Razz but check out the pic I took when I was in vacation of unpainted AE 125 I saw in North Carolina

Thanks! There are some here in the South Coast of British Columbia,I have never seen any at the lighting contractors,so I imagine it could take quite awhile before one shows up.Is there a good number of Model 25's in Ontario? That's cool Niall is going to get you a Unidor and a Model 25,maybe I will ask Niall if he could find a Model 25 for me too. Razz

We have quite a few but not enough to meet my standards. Razz Niall is getting a Unidor and I asked him if he was able to get one of the Model 25's for me because there is road work being done and they are coming down by next spring. i guess you should ask him then
