Darren, do you have any spare small glass refractors? Just asking cause I want one. xD
lite_lover   [May 08, 2011 at 09:01 PM]
Hey Ian,no sorry I don't have any spare small glass refractors at this time,I could use some spares myself. Smile
LilCinnamon   [May 09, 2011 at 06:31 AM]
Ahh. Was this light originally a different wattage and ballast? If so what was the lamp type and how was it mounted?
lite_lover   [May 09, 2011 at 07:51 AM]
Originally this was 250W mercury vapour, and the ballast was mounted with long screws directly onto the top housing
LilCinnamon   [May 09, 2011 at 07:58 AM]
Sounds like how the ballast is mounted on my OV-15 I have. I guess GE got that idea that they use on their current fixtures (Screwing directly to top housing) xD
lite_lover   [May 09, 2011 at 08:07 AM]
Yeah I guess GE is trying to make installation easier and less mounting parts.
streetlight98   [Oct 11, 2011 at 02:43 AM]
Where did you get the NEMA tag then if this wattage is not origional?
joe_347V   [Oct 11, 2011 at 03:42 AM]
Pulled it off a dead lume? the contractors? eBay?
lite_lover   [Oct 11, 2011 at 11:36 AM]
Yes, this NEMA tag came off a damaged fixture.
LilCinnamon   [Nov 06, 2011 at 01:27 AM]
What happened to the original ballast?
streetlight98   [Nov 06, 2011 at 01:25 AM]
Probably was fried. Either that or it was in bad shape....
lite_lover   [Nov 06, 2011 at 08:52 PM]
Still have it,the original ballast is a 250W merc, but I converted it to 150W HPS when i was using this fixture outside to save energy.
joe_347V   [Nov 06, 2011 at 10:16 PM]
Hmm did it come with a BT merc lamp originally?
lite_lover   [Nov 08, 2011 at 04:29 AM]
No, it had a GE coated ED shaped lamp with it.
