I see no support "legs" used on the truck when rising the bucket, working like this is considered safe? Shocked

I have seen cherry picker mounted on the top of the Ford E-350 van Razz

On the smaller trucks, 1 and 1.5 ton such as the Ford F-350 450 550 which have a boom up to 42 feet do not require support legs as the boom can only go straight up and not swivel over for extended reach like the booms on most of the 3 and 5 ton bucket trucks (43 - 60 ft) which all have support legs. Yeah,I saw a E-350 bucket van the other day.

Strange, here were many accidents involving tipping over such machinery (not only buckets), when support legs were not used (lazy job).
Only exception are heavy trucks with bucket capable to go only straighht upwards (used virtually only for trolley repairs, they do not need to reach out) - the mass of the truck itself make it then stable enough...

The signal and backboard colors are reversed here. That's even if the backboards are used. sometimes they're not here.
