BTW, how good are the Benchlite ballasts? I saw a shoplight fixture with a vintage-looking Benchlite ballast rated for 0.85A but it was small like a LPF so i didn't get it. If it's there next time i go, would it by worth getting?
Was it a small reflector shoplight with a short cord/plug (about 8" long)? If so I have one like it, although the pervious owner of my house "modified" it with a piece of orange extension cord wire then spliced the original plug back on... It works though so I've never bother redoing it. (The plug on my Sears shoplight is also spliced on),
Kinda like duct tape, which can fix just about everything except what it's supposed to be for, ducts that is. xD
