Sweet! You can run mercs and metal halides! Would you mind posting a shot of the NEMA tag? There were a couple of these on Interstate 95 and interstate 195, but when the interchange was moved a half mile south, both interstates were rebuilt from scratch at that interchange with new lights, poles, bridges, signs, jersey barrier, and pavement.

Hey Mike,a pic showing the NEMA tag has been posted. Smile

Cool that you were able to get a door for this, we have some Hubbell RMs in Ontario too but they're FCO and in HPS.

There's a listing for bronze 150w versions on eBay for $90 each. They have glass refractors and are NOS.

There's an NOS one of these with a plastic lens for $20 on CL here. But there's no ballast door and painted brown. Haven't found a reasonably priced door so I haven't gotten it.

What search terms do you use to find lights on craigslist? I go with old reliable "mercury vapor", "halide", "sodium" but I can never find roadway lights. I have tried "street light" and "roadway light" but it only pulls up ads for campers or motorcycles. Rolling Eyes

@ZarlogH46:
For street-lights I mainly use these 4:
"street light" (with the quotes!), "street lights", streetlight, and streetlights
Plus sometimes the various types of lamp "mercury vapor", "metal halide", HPS, SOX ...

For fluorescent lights a little list of types & various misspellings
streetlight98   [May 21, 2018 at 11:34 PM]
It all depends on what people in your area are selling. CL is very specific with its search results. If the seller doesn't know how to spell or has a weird title/description, it makes it almost impossible to find it. You'd be surprised how many people spell fluorescent as "flouresent", "flourescent", "florescent", etc. I suppose the average person doesn't see "fluorescent" spelled out nearly as much as any of us and it is a bit of an odd word but come on, who doesn't have spell check on their browser? It's 2018. Laughing

CL isn't very popular here so I browse Kijiji which more people use instead. Anyway I usually use the terms "traffic light, stop light, cross walk light, pedestrian light" for signals, "street light and streetlight" for street lights, "fluorescent light" for fluorescent. I generally don't bother with using the countless variations people can spell fluorescent. Laughing

I also filter out stuff like cars, trucks, room for rent, apt for rent from the results.
