Here is a Thin-Lite 12 volt fluorescent that takes two 8W F8T5 lamps with bad ballast.The fixture and lens is in perfect condition so I decided to order a new Thin-Lite electronic ballast to replace it.

I had one of these in the F15T8 version with a similar looking ballast. I think I still have the housing, but I never tested the ballast xD.

Yes Joe these are mostly used inside RV's. I also have one of these in the box of my 3 ton truck.

Do the lamps operate independently? Or if one is removed/goes EOL both go out?

1 transformer so they operate most likely in series. Looks like there is a heater connection for the centre of the series pair so they run as a preheat instead of a cold cathode start. Might give a good lamp life then.
