I have one of these. Funny how at the time they claimed these 9 watt lamps could replace 60 watt lamps. I even had some Feit 9w ones the claimed to replace 75 watt bulbs, though the results were disappointing. Probably the reason why I never really warmed to PL lamps.

I have the 7w version of this. Mine has a screw in retainer that slipped over the tube.

Mine has that too. These have an interesting ring-shaped ballast, with the socket in the middle of the ring.

They make a 28w adapter...i have one its kinda bulky having an auto transformer ballast but it sure is blink happy and flashes very rapidly when starting Very Happy

Hmm, for 28w 2D? I've never seen a CFL adapter with a autotransformer ballast before.

its a Prolight adapter for a quad tube lamp with 2 pins, i also have the reflector
