I have to say it...LED junk.

Until they can produce these that put out equal or more light than incandescent or halogens they are supposed to replace I will not buy them.

tmcdilr they already did make LEDs really bright, its the one above thats dim...but those, VERY BRIGHT!!! I have several already!

dont buy cheap ones...they are dim and junk....its the higher end that is bright....the one I linked above is the best of all! They use blue LEDs inside with separate phosphor (which is the yellow plastic sidings)

Yeah, I've had good initial results with the Philips AmbientLED series, I have one like the style Jace linked to and it's pretty
bright. Now to see how long they last lol.

My Utilitech LEDs in my room have lasted me a good amount of time so far for the low price i payed and the fact that they're used a lot and they burn at about 45 degrees with the base up. No lumen drop from what i can tell.
