Full of goodies!
This is the wire basket I always bring with me to the recycle centre. In the pic there were some stuff I got from a recent hunt in late August.

In the basket there's a ratchet kit for bolts, a screwdriver kit for screws (duh xD), and a large Heinz tomato juice tin can, with diagonal cutters, electrician pliers, and also a bunch of screws and bolts and wirenuts LOL. There's also a pair of gloves to handle harsh and/or dirty stuff!

What is that round thing in the lower left, a clock? How good are the tools, as that sounds like a good score, a can full of hand tools. Cool

It's the base of a broken table lamp. I couldn't remove the ballast at the recycle centre so I brought it home to remove it.

As of the tools, most of them are from Canadian Tire, they're not junk, but it's not top quality either LOL. The green diagonal cut pliers came from the recycle centre xD. It doesn't happen often, but when I'm lucky I find tools xD.

Is there an induction motor there? If so, 3 phase or 1 phase?
SeanB~1   [Nov 11, 2012 at 12:28 PM]
Washing machine motor, so single phase multi speed.

Single phase, yes, but single speed! It probably came from a clothes dryer actually, or a furnace.

Induction or a brushed universal motor?
