Robertson R120P trigger start ballast
This ballast has been found in the remaining of an undercabinet fixture back when I was allowed to jump in the scrap metal dumpster. I removed the ballast and threw the rest back in the dumpster LOL.

As with 95% of the ballast I find, this one still works fine!

These are generally pretty cool ballasts (most any NPF-Trigger Start) and most lamps seem to last a very long time on them. However, I prefer using only 20w since anything smaller will overheat ballast if the lamp goes EOL.

Do the NPF ones overheat with EOL F20T12s? How about the F30/F40 simple lamp NPF ballasts?

Might depend on the brand but most of the time EOL 20w appear ok to run...though the ballast still gets hot but not enough to trip thermal protector. Might also depend on the type fixture for heat dissipation.
