Is this light on or off?
Form109   [Jan 05, 2010 at 12:40 AM]
its On....and i do like these Fixtures Too...they look Heftier than the Normal Blasters....though i do see the Heath-Zenith Versions more often.

The gap between the refractor and housing look terrible - or it is badly assembled or the material quality is really bad for this use (so it could not hold the refractor weight without deforming)

I dunno how the refractor is attached to the head. Mine is attached by bolts. Mebbe it's loosened up from years of use. Mebbe all it need was rebolted up.

I like this one better than those smaller "NEMA head Wannabes" Although I like the REAL NEMA head stuff better....It is the "NEMA Wannabes" I am not too fond of....If they made them JUST to look like the Real NEMA heads...then I ain't fond of it, but if it is something that looks "different" from those real NEMA heads like the above or those compact buckets or even those old McGraw Edison yard blasters, then I like!

Medved/FGS I think how this is designed is that the reflector is actually exactly the same as the others exposed...except those are actually hidden by the black casing....and screwed with 2 bolts...so there is no light escaping between the refractor and the casing since the hidden reflector is attached to refractor (see the metallic rim) which is where it is put together.

I recently got one of these at a re-store and it looked just like new and the ballast was in vary good condition. When I got it at the re-store it did not have its bulb or the bracket that it goes on. So because it did not have its bracket I put it on a arm which looks different. The gap between the shade and the housing is made like that. The shade is held on by 3 screws and yes it looks like it should be screwed in more.
