This is a gondola life cable car, which connects between Merkazit Hamifratz, Technion and Haifa University. It is used as a form of public transportation, but I think that buses are better than this, because 19 min in a cable car is too long ride compared to the same amount of time riding buses. You can't exit the cabins in emergency, and it may not suitable for people with Acrophobia like me.
