Heh Cool Did the weld brake from cycling or did it Just brake randomly as the arc tube looks quite shot LOL (longest lasting HPS I have Seen )

Wow! This is a stretch, but could it be rewelded if it's tapped into place while hooked up to power?

I don't think that is possible, but poor lamp. I'm sure this lamp is done for. xD I have a few that are similar to this. I got a Metal Halide lamp that doesn't work anymore because of something similar to this.

I have an old 400W Westinghouse HPS lamp (well, from the late 70s to early 80s) that's very used. It works but I think it's a cycler. I tried it on a 250W HPS ballast and it never turned orange, it just turned off after about a minute. I'm guessing it would do the same on a 400W ballast.
