When I first saw the thumbnail I thought they did it like this originally and thought "At least put in the middle of the "circline" bulb! Laughing

At least the tube wasn't just laying inside the lens lol. My M-400A2s had loose caps and igniters when they were converted to PSMH. I made brackets when I restored them.

Hey, electrical tape works great for that! I've been known to do atrocious things like that myself though but ONLY on my own stuff LOL.

I know of a conversion like this done where they didn't even bother to mount the tube, it just sits on the glass lens! We shook the pole and the tube slid around inside....lol

yeah I do all sorts of hack jobs but ONLY for me and ONLY for temporary setups.
GEsoftwhite100watts   [Oct 12, 2014 at 05:52 AM]
I do them for temporary-permanent but again, only for myself.

Another park light had the ballast fall into the lens like this Laughing Laughing

Hmm interesting. I wonder if the person stood them up on their sides and wind vibration rocked the poles the right way to tip them over and then they landed in the middle? Have any of these induction retrofits failed or have you seen a drop in lumens?
