Updated my cabinet
About a month back my Peek VideoTrak video detection processor decided in wanted to retire early when I realized all phases were maxing out times. I opened the cabinet to find all the indicators frozen on and the error light flashing. I tried fixing the issue but I concluded that the processor boards just decided to die out.

Did some talking to the right people and purchased a proper TS2 detector rack and eventually a brand new Iteris Vantage Edge2 video card. It pays to have the contacts in the industry because these cards can cost upwards of $5,000 each.

So...video is back up using the latest and greatest of video detection processors. This thing is a huge advancement over the Peek unit which was over 10 years old. But to fit the rack in my existing cabinet I had to put the power supply box on its side.

Does the video processor have electrolytic capacitor? If you find them leaked, probably it went bad by then

Capacitor plague

I've had to replace LED traffic modules that had popped caps

There was no sign of damage on any of the modules in the VideoTrak, I had the thing gutted. Nothing would respond to it, tried connecting the laptop software to it and it couldn't find the machine. This Iteris card is slick! It was a nice upgrade

Sounds like you have work cut out Smile

The cabinet is complete with the new Iteris system in place. I scrapped the videotrak unit. Theres no point in attempting to fix it. The Iteris has tons of improvements over the Peek system. Make sense since the little Iteris card is from 2014, and the bulky Peek box is from the mid 1990s.
