What's the point of having tape blocking the window to the PC? And it seems that everything is new.

The installation almost looks like it's temporary.

It does... I hate when temporary installations use all new stuff. I mean, this is the perfect opportunity to reuse a used fixture that was removed in working condition, such as if the light was no longer needed or replaced with a different wattage and was still in working order. I've seen that happen time and time again; brand new lights used a temporary set-ups for a few months to a year and then removed with more brand new lights to replace them. Sad I know it's just the way things work with larger utilities since it's too much to keep track of used lights and which ones work and stuff but still sad to see a new light live such a short life.

Well, it saves me the hassle of looking for a dayburner of this street light in my area. There are some of this in Brockton, Burlington, Quincy, one in Waltham, and a few other cities.

There's no shortage of dayburners here with those crappy FP/Sun-Tech photocells. Rolling Eyes

Wait, they get trashed after use? What the heck! I thought they get taken down, then wait for a another area that needs temporary lighting?

Nope, in most cases they use new lights every time, so they're in service for a few months and then get scrapped. Sad

Won't last long anyway, this is a 400w cram fixture! Laughing
