This is a Lithonia Lighting TFL Contour® Medium floodlight. Wink
mercuryvaporrocks   [Aug 31, 2012 at 01:59 AM]
That floodlight doesn't belong on that arm.
GullWhiz   [Aug 31, 2012 at 02:02 AM]
And another case of external photocell wired "remotely" and taped onto the arm near the slipfitter? Oy oy oy oy oy Boston!
streetlight98   [Aug 31, 2012 at 02:07 AM]
Exposed wirenuts too! They didn't even wrap the wirenuts in tape! Yeah it'd still be bad but i thought Boston liked tape. Laughing

Um Jace. This ain't in Boston but in Brockton. 10~15 miles South of Boston.
GullWhiz   [Sep 01, 2012 at 03:31 AM]
Still same contractors, same area... "Boston area"

give it up FGS!
Antstar85   [Sep 01, 2012 at 04:39 AM]
Here's the thing. Brockton is not served by the same utility as Boston. Brockton is served by national grid which is why this boggles me as to why this looks like this because last I knew, national grid serviced their lights.

Edit: ok so upon further research, Brockton purchased the streetlights from National Grid so that would explain the quality lighting installation we see here.

Jace: no boston has their own contractors. Wink
@ Tony; yeah this comes as a surprise to me becuase NGrid seems to be big on appearance and they're VERY strict about how everything is on their poles.
