GE M250R2 Merc
I think this is an R2, but I'm not positive. It's a merc, either 175 or 250.

yea this is a R2...the A2 is distinguished from the R2 by having a Power Door and a much Boxier front end.

Right, I'm familiar with the Powr/Doors, but I wasn't sure if this was an R2 or an original R1. What's the difference in the R series?
Form109   [Jul 27, 2011 at 02:48 AM]
Wel the R2 does have more of a rounded nose, and the R1 is just a little pointier...someone else who knows more about them can tell the diffrences in a more detailed manner,im just going by what i see.

Well, the M-250R1 (labeled in the GE catalog M-250R) was a bit longer than the R2. It indeed had a flatter profile and appeared to be "pointy". More info can be found here
