AE 325 PowerPad
This is quite an unusual setup for a couple of reasons:
1. This particular municipality only allows GE lights to be installed!
2. It's 250w HPS, while the highest wattage for this type of residential street is 150.
3. Pretty much any AE PowerPad fixture is uncommon here.

They really only allow GE's to be installed?! Shocked or is it that GE's are just is usually installed....

Yep, they are very strict about it - GE only, M250A2 and in some cases M400A3. Must have specific wattage, ballast type (Mag reg), voltage (240), and even a specific type of photocell (Tork 2007A). IMO it seems pretty ridiculous to have such strict regulations over something as trivial as street lights...

325's are very common in the city of Chicopee, MA. Also the MDOT have started using these on state lighting.

My guess is that it is for maintenance, that way they don't have to replace the fixture and only have to stock two types of powerdors.

Interestingly, this 325 and the ones around it are 150w HPS. According to AEL's documentation, these aren't available in anything under 200w for HPS.
