Hmm. It honestly isn't a very lit up parking lot. I like the effect of the glare though....

the Lot is lit better than it appears on Camera.

The same thing happened when i took a photo of Seekonk Speedway. The track looked so dark when really it was brighter.....

kinda get the same effect when your staring into something glaryand bright....everything else around appears dark.
