All Finished! McCann Lighting Mini Reflecto-Bay™ High Bay Fixture
35W HPS, 120V. The ballast housing is three junction box extenders screwed together and its about the same size as the bucket reflector! I'm very pleased with how this turned out. An NOS Sylvania 35W HPS lamp is on its way from eBay.

Thanks! The 35W lamp arrived this week (an NOS Sylvania, no older than the mid-90s) so I can run this without the 100W HPS lamp now lol.

Thanks. Very Happy Glad you like it! The inside is cramped but I did everything as neatly as possible. A litttle bit of a pain to disassemble with all the screws lol.

Thanks! It's the utilitarin version of your PSMH cylinder lol.

35 watt HPS? I dunno if you could call this a high bay, but it's a pretty cool thing you made here! Maybe I should do something like this myself. xD But -shrug- I have a ballast box I can work on.

It doesn't matter what wattage it is, if it doesn't have a prismatic refractor on it then it's a highbay. Razz Thanks! I'm happy with the results too. Yeah you can build one too! If you get a large enough bucket/reflector you could use a higher wattage too. I wanted to make it 70W PSMH or 100W MV but the 35W HPS ballast barely fit inside so a PSMH ballast wouldn't and it would get way too hot.
