These were the replacement for the US-made Survivor lamp. The Survivors were rated for 3,000 hours; the Hungarian bulbs for 2,000. The filaments on these are always crooked and not mounted level like the Survivors. The earliest Hungarians were acid etched, and then GE went to light silica coating (like this one) sometime in the past few years.
