I still have yet to buy one of these BT halogen lamps. Are they still made? I heard they were banning the older style halogens. It's too bad they don't make the newer incandescent-rated replacement halogens in this shape. Are the older style halogens like this any more efficient than an incandescent? I'd imagine at least the color would be better. One reason why I havn't gotten one of these is because they're more expensive. Plus i don't see them here anymore. Neutral

oh. maybe they were banned then. Sad i think it would be really cool if they made medium-based ED17 HID lamps in the BT15 envelope.
