I have to find some wiring supplies before I can test it out, so I'll probably do that tomorrow.

You should of got the 4 bolt slipfitter version as this was a custom-ish order. Well not exactly custom since you bought it with the specs pre-done from graybar, but you got it from them as a special order, you ordered one and then Graybar ordered what you told them to order directly from AEL then AEL made it for you. xD So it's kind of custom.

Linemen prefer 2 bolt setups. Makes for a quick install. The company likes more lights fixed during the day since we are trying to save our streetlight business since towns are now buying them out and maintaining them themselves. We have already lost 5 of our 59 towns in western mass.

Yeah the 4 bolt slipfitter didn't really seem necessary to me. I'm sure it would have cost more.

In high vibration applications and for larger fixtures it is better, but it does take longer to install.

The only fixtures we get in at work with the 4 bolt slipfitters are the 327's. They are the only AEL fixture we use in WMECO territory.

The ballast looks mounted in a little crooked. xD
streetlight98   [Dec 05, 2011 at 11:15 PM]
Looks straight to me....

Maybe it's just the label. Or my eyes are tricking me. But it MAY be crooked a tiny bit cause no one mounts things in perfect.

I think both actually. I thought just the label was crooked, but it looks like the ballast and label are crooked......
