Nice! We have tons of these brackets around on route 2. They had silver 400w MV M-400s, but got changed with 250w HPS M-250R2s years ago. The few silver M-400 mercs left were changed out with new 400w HPS M-400s. One 400w M-400R2 is left that doesn't work, I can't tell by the NEMA tag if it's MV or HPS

we have some of these in our downtown,but none of em have anything that intreasting unfortunately.

Nice poles! Judging from the wiring and the brackets for the wires, looks like they once ran on a series system. I don't see anything where remote isolation ballasts would have been mounted, so maybe they were series incandescent long ago. Southern California Edison has plenty of old poles like these with overhead wiring, but they are almost never seen with the curved braces.

@streetlights98, I am aware of these poles on Highway 2 in Rhode Island, it was all mercury in the 80s. The M400s I recall were grey, though.

Yeah i kinda got the impression they might have been series when i saw them but i wasn't sure.

here's one,close to the location of this picture here but i don't see any streetlights there.
