Truss arm traffic lights are EXTREMELY common in NJ....in fact almost all are like that......

these are diffrent than some in my area....most trusses here tend to have a squareish mounting area on the pole where the arm simply bolts onto,this one however has the arm on the top and bottom of the truss splitting into two pieces of flat metal and clamped to the pole with a clamping setup.
