Top one is a GE F26"T8/CW/4 from post-2003. Moderately used but significantly dimmer than a new tube, and even an average used tube!

Bottom one is a Sylvania F18T8/CW/K26 from 2000. Has been used very little if at all, so it's bright as new!

Do these exhibit striations when cold like the 24" F18T8s?

They do, but just a little at ambient temperature.

Same with mine...24" 18w GEs. Much like a cold 34w 4' or 60w 8' lamp. Not so "flashy" though since they run on an electronic F17T8 ballast.
