Brightness variations, take 2
Earlier this month I got a Sylvania F18T8/CW/K26 from 2000 which is virtually NOS. The post-2003 GE F26"T8/CW/4 was found last week, in a cooking range as always. It is moderately used, but look at how dim it is! Not quite common to see one of these dim as much. And this can only be phosphor degradation as this model has never been Ecolux, and probably never will be.

I have a ValueBright F20/CW that's really dim. Probably weak phosphors too i guess... I call it my ValueDim lamp lol.

Some of those generic overseas F15T8/CWs can be pretty dim and have an icky greenish-yellowish light output too...I have some like that.

The GE Indonesian F15T8/CW are bright at first but have terrible lumen maintaince and then end band and seem to go mercury starved just before EOL

The F24T8 18w appliance lamps on my boat (in American-Fluorescent instant start wrarparounds) seem to be a LOT dimmer now...I was thinking "lumen depreciation" just today in fact!

I got an OEL Indonesian GE F15T8/WW which was still pretty bright, sent it back to recycling today. I did notice that the /CWs were more greenish compared to North-American made cool whites.

Yeah I've noticed that too on generic overseas F15T8/CWS.
