Nice meet-up! Is that a canadian OV-15? The hinges look like a Westinghouse Canada design... At first i thought it was an OV-25! then i saw the FP lens and was like What?! Aren't the OV-15s like 30" long or so? if so, they're the same size as an OVF/Y/D. Shocked

Hi guys! Very Happy

Are your friends a member of this site as well? Confused

That's me with an American OV-15. FP lens on it with one of Jace's 1973 Westy lamp. Fixture is 1973 too. The PC is newer though.

I am bare foot in this pic cuz this was taken at my house. Laughing

Hi guys! I bet you guys having blast time! Very Happy and Nice Westy OV-15!
GullWhiz   [Apr 15, 2013 at 05:52 AM]
Mike. It's a OV-14B. The very first low wattage Cobrahead...it was made same time OV-25 flat bottom came out.....

Felipe is just a typical regular OV-15

looks like you had a good time with the guys Cool
streetlight98   [Apr 15, 2013 at 02:21 PM]
yeah as soon as i saw the OV-14B and put everything all together i was like "Oh wow these fixtures are bigger than i thought!" and to think i saw a couple of OV-15s in person when i visited Joe Maurath last July. compared to something like the M-250R2 or 115, these are huge lol.
GullWhiz   [Apr 16, 2013 at 01:40 AM]
OV-14 is basically same length as the OV-25.....but much narrower!
streetlight98   [Apr 16, 2013 at 01:55 AM]
Just like the OV-25 remote ballast is exactly the same length as the m-250R2 but the M-250R2 is much narrower and or course has a smaller lens to acommodate the integral ballast. So i guess the OV-25 isn't much larger than the OV-15? Just wider and a couple inches longer?
GullWhiz   [Apr 16, 2013 at 02:07 AM]
oh the OV-15 is smaller, about 2 and half inches long....the OV-14B and the OV-25 are 3 feet long
streetlight98   [Apr 16, 2013 at 02:11 AM]
ahh in the pic the OV-14B only looks a couple inches longer than the OV-15. If the OV-15 is 30" long then it and the OVF are the same length! jsut goes to show how desigs have shrunk over the years, mainly the slipfitter area had been simplified and the latches on the GEs.

btw, lol at Felipe's shirt. Laughing
