Although flickery and without a proper heat sink I like the way it uses that glass thing to spread light from the LED to all directions.

Only this one does. Other LED bulbs are minimal or flicker free.

I don't find that LED bulbs flicker. I have yet to see one that does (aside from improperly-functioning ones).

Lowes sells these in clearance. Probably don't have them anymore.

Yeah the only thing I don't like about most LEDs is that 120Hz flicker they have.

Hmm I've never picked up on the flicker thing. I would only get 60 or 75W equivalent (or even 100W=) LEDs anyway so I wouldn't get one of these but they seem cool. All the lights in my house are 60W incandescents but since LEDs use so much less energy, why not get a ton more light too?
