If i'm right, I have some info about this set up. I worked at an electronics store around here when the street was being reconstruced. The contractor that did these temps was B&M (unusual for this city?). The cobraheads were utilized from the old permanent signal systems these temps replaced. (the huge arms are new). Strangely enough these had 25HPS stickers on them, but when moved to the temp wooden poles, these lights now have 40HPS stickers! All the intersections along the construction project were treated similarly, temp poles with the original assorted blend of SMALL cobraheads ael115s, coopovx, powerlights... Seem they refurbished these old lights not caring they weren't meant for 40HPS, as they knew their fate would be a half year later upon the instalation of a new signal system?
Yep, I actually got three cobras from this job that are now in my collection (a 115, 125 and Powerlite R7). Though the ones I got did have 400 watt stickers on them but still had the 250 watt ballasts inside, I think the tags where to trick the inspectors into thinking they actually put up 400 watt cobras when they took the cheap way out.
