Yeah. This Looks exactly like the one in my M-400 r2. Its prolly the same kind.

Yep it is plastic, in fact all manufactures terminal blocks are made of plastic except Westinghouse and now Cooper (the use the same design) are porcelain I would take a guess the GE use to make them out of porcelain but stopped.

My GE terminal block from 1973 is black plastic and has 5 terminals.
